61/365: Judy Garland

She was my lifelong passion. In 1960, when she toured with her Carnegie Hall concert, I sat in the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, waiting for her to register. She didn’t show up the first day, so I went back the second day and was there when she came in. I got her autograph and took her picture. She was so tiny.

Speaking of Judy Garland, this weekend at The Judy Garland Experience, and in honor of the Tennis Tournament, they will be featuring the complete performance of one of Judy's concerts at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium from the mid sixties.
There will also be a rare late 40's rehearsal recording, as well as lots of other rarities and goodies.
If you are not familiar with The Judy Garland Experience you should stop by and check it out.
The group has Garland fan's friend's, family members, and more. There are also spectacular photographs and a never ending supply of the rarest Judy audio treats anywhere.
